The Inspector of Custodial Services is required to inspect each custodial centre at least once every five years.1 A custodial centre includes correctional centres, transitional centres and residential facilities.2
Corrective Services NSW operates a number of transitional centres and residential facilities throughout NSW which provide pre and post release accommodation and support services.
The Inspector of Custodial Services will examine the role of the Integration Support Centre (Campbelltown) in aiding offenders to reintegrate into the community.
In undertaking this inspection regard will be had to;
a. relevant standards, legislation, policies and procedures; and
b. any other related matter.
